2022-10-23 | Add trailing commas to enum declarations | David Robillard | 1 | -2/+2
This has been supported since C99 and C++11, and makes for less noisy diffs and fewer conflicts when things are added.
2022-10-23 | Fix "suspicious" string comparison | David Robillard | 2 | -2/+1
This is beyond silly. | |||||

2022-09-08 | Use 0BSD for trivial "public domain intent" things | David Robillard | 1 | -1/+1
Fedora takes issue with CC0. Although it doesn't really matter for this stuff (dual licensed anyway, questionably "software", certainly not patentable, and so on), this is simpler and more consistent with the ISC license used for the actual software anyway.
2022-08-31 | Adopt REUSE machine-readable licensing standard | David Robillard | 24 | -345/+49
2022-07-16 | Simplify command line usage printing | David Robillard | 1 | -16/+19
2022-07-16 | Remove redundant check for command line argument count | David Robillard | 1 | -4/+1
2022-07-16 | Define _POSIX_C_SOURCE globally in the build system | David Robillard | 3 | -6/+0
Using inconsistent defines like this that affect the standard library implementation can cause issues. So, doing this consistently for the whole library is a better approach, although it unfortunately makes the code more difficult to compile manually.
2022-07-16 | Use a lookup table to determine UTF-8 encoding length | David Robillard | 1 | -20/+38

2021-06-30 | Move local URI utility functions | David Robillard | 1 | -28/+28
2021-06-30 | Make node qualify and expand functions tolerate a null Env | David Robillard | 1 | -0/+12
This is convenient in places where you don't necessarily need an Env, since these methods will work the same as with an empty Env.
2021-06-30 | Avoid writing invalid prefixed name prefixes | David Robillard | 1 | -1/+2
2021-05-31 | Make most function parameters const | David Robillard | 11 | -212/+283
More const never hurts in general, but in particular this allows the compiler to make better nullability deductions, which reduces the amount of manual nullability casting required.
2021-05-31 | Fix include order | David Robillard | 1 | -1/+2
2021-05-31 | Remove "static inline" for functions in implementation files | David Robillard | 7 | -26/+26
This is just noise since these are static functions local to a C compilation unit.
2021-05-31 | Remove default case from exhaustive switch | David Robillard | 2 | -2/+1
2021-05-31 | Clean up switch case comments | David Robillard | 1 | -5/+5
2021-05-31 | Fix unannotated switch fallthroughs | David Robillard | 2 | -7/+27
Unfortunately, clang does not support doing this with comments, requiring yet more preprocessor gunk.

2021-01-17 | Remove aligned_alloc support | David Robillard | 2 | -19/+0
This causes build issues when targeting older versions of MacOS. That could be fixed, but I don't have the ability to reproduce it at the moment, and it's a problem in the build system check code which is about to be entirely replaced anyway. Since, as far as I know, this does not actually add aligned allocation support to any real system (they all support one of the other methods), just remove it for now.
2021-01-10 | Add missing includes | David Robillard | 1 | -0/+2
2021-01-10 | Avoid use of strcpy | David Robillard | 1 | -3/+3
Again, really just skirting around warnings here, but this is faster anyway since we know what we're doing here and doing require any fine-grained null termination.
2021-01-09 | Only define WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN for MSVC | David Robillard | 1 | -1/+3
This avoids a warning with MinGW.
2021-01-09 | Avoid GCC warning about printed string overflow | David Robillard | 1 | -9/+14
GCC seems to think there was a potential overflow here, but I don't see it. I think it just can't figure out that the printed text and the size both depend on the same variable. In any case, avoiding formatting functions here avoids the warning, and is probably faster anyway.
