2020-10-04 | Add puglGetViewHint() | David Robillard | 9 | -4/+127
This allows retrieving properties of the view that may be needed, such as the actual bit depth (which may vary from the suggested depth provided as a hint).
2020-10-03 | Set defaults to 32-bit RGBA with no depth or stencil buffer | David Robillard | 1 | -6/+6
2020-10-03 | Store real double buffer value in hint and remove separate variable | David Robillard | 1 | -5/+2
2020-10-03 | Refuse to set hints to PUGL_DONT_CARE when it doesn't make sense | David Robillard | 1 | -0/+13
2020-09-19 | Call glXSwapIntervalEXT inside active context | Hanspeter Portner | 1 | -0/+2
Some NVIDIA cards using the proprietary drivers (e.g. GeForce GTX 460/550) need that.
2020-09-19 | Move puglX11GlEnter() and puglX11GlLeave() above puglX11GlCreate() | David Robillard | 1 | -22/+22
2020-09-19 | Fix clang-tidy warnings | David Robillard | 1 | -2/+16
2020-07-05 | Improve struct packing | David Robillard | 2 | -5/+5
Unfortunately there is no warning like Wpadded but only for internal padding, so that can't be turned on, but if there was, after this commit the build would be clean with it. Maybe some day...
2020-07-05 | Move stub backend function implementations to a detail header | David Robillard | 10 | -49/+83
2020-07-05 | Replace isHint bool with a flag | David Robillard | 4 | -5/+5
I don't have any particular future use case in mind, but I think the concept makes sense for general events and it seems it could be useful for things like gestures as well. Also fixes another padding warning in the API.
2020-07-05 | Add scroll direction field | David Robillard | 4 | -27/+75
2020-07-05 | Replace grab flag in PuglEventFocus with crossing mode | David Robillard | 3 | -6/+11
2020-07-05 | Remove redundant focus field from PuglEventMotion | David Robillard | 2 | -2/+0
2020-07-05 | Remove count field from PuglEventExpose | David Robillard | 5 | -8/+3
This was never particularly useful, and it makes no sense with the new drawing model, even on X11, so its presence just adds confusion. So, remove it, which also conveniently fixes a padding warning in PuglEventExpose.

2020-07-02 | Mac: Declare instance variables in implementation | David Robillard | 5 | -28/+25
Declaring instance variables in interfaces is deprecated, according to Wobjc-interface-vars (Apple clang version 11.0.0).

2020-06-13 | Mac: Only create an AutoreleasePool for programs | David Robillard | 1 | -5/+10
Avoids crashes in some plugin scenarios when draining the AutoreleasePool. This is still probably not ideal, more fine-grained use of auto release facilities might be more appropriate here.

2020-05-16 | Use email address in copyright headers | David Robillard | 27 | -27/+27
Not really sure why I used a web link here (maybe because it's more stable), but this is more conventional.

2020-04-03 | Mac: Use NSMakeRect over CGRectMake | David Robillard | 1 | -1/+1
Using CGRectMake here apparently doesn't work on older versions of MacOS.
2020-04-03 | Remove glew.h compatibility header | David Robillard | 1 | -31/+0
Not sure what the thinking behind this was, glew.h isn't available on MacOS anyway.

This is sometimes used by puglSetWindowTitle() using the existing title.

2020-04-01 | Add types and documentation for all event types | David Robillard | 1 | -6/+72
These are not necessary since they are just aliases for PuglEventAny, but provide a place to put the documentation, and can make code clearer where a specific event type is known.
2020-04-01 | Consistently use "view" terminology in API | David Robillard | 7 | -30/+41
The sloppy use of "window" caused quite a bit of confusion, since views only correspond to top-level windows in some cases, and on MacOS, a non-top-level view is not a "window" at all. |
